This Fair Use Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, ourVoice Services Schedule.
For the purposes of this Fair Use Policy, Unlimited Call Plans are plans described as “unlimited” or as including unlimited standard Australian calls in the applicable Order, service description or our Voice Services Schedule. Our Unlimited Call Plans include standard Australian local, national and mobile calls made from Australia.
Unlimited call plans are provided subject to reasonable business use. They are intended for the normal day-to-day communications of a standard Australian business and must not be used in a way that is excessive, abnormal or inconsistent with the intended purpose of the plan.
In assessing whether usage is excessive or inconsistent with reasonable business use, we may consider call volumes, call duration, call frequency, call patterns, destination types, the number of users or devices, whether usage is comparable to similar business customers.
Our voice services must not be used for:
- operating a call centre, telemarketing or bulk outbound calling service;
- auto-dialling, predictive dialling or machine-generated calls;
- SIM boxing, call re-origination, call resale or wholesale telecommunications services;
- continuously forwarding calls or creating artificial or unattended call traffic;
- fraudulent, abusive or illegal activities;
- any use that adversely affects the performance or availability of the telecommunications network for other customers; or
- structuring, splitting, rotating or otherwise managing calls, numbers, users, devices or accounts to avoid the operation of this Fair Use Policy.
You are responsible for all use of the voice services by your employees, contractors, representatives, end users, systems, devices and any other person who accesses or uses the voice services through your account or with your authority.
If we reasonably believe your usage is excessive or inconsistent with normal business use or this Fair Use Policy, we may contact you to discuss your usage and request that you take reasonable steps to address the issue. Where excessive or unreasonable use continues after notification, we may apply additional call charges, move you to a more suitable plan, suspend the unlimited calling feature, or terminate the service in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and Voice Services Schedule. We may take immediate action without prior notice where we reasonably consider it necessary to prevent fraud, unlawful activity, security risk, network harm, material service degradation or liability to a carrier or third party.
We may amend this Fair Use Policy from time to time in accordance with ourTerms of Service.
